Safety Coordinator Bowral

About the role:

Upto $75p/h

Fixed term contract until July, 2025

6am-5pm Monday
- Friday (Saturdays as required)

Key duties:

Provide support, advice, and guidance to the project team on safety and environmental compliance

Ensure adherence to IMS, safety standards, legislation, and guidelines

Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.

Organize and deliver HSEQ training to staff, promoting safety awareness across the organization.

Perform regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and improve safety practices.

Investigate incidents and accidents, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent

Skills / Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in a similar role

Civil construction experience (water/sewerage treatment plant preferred)

Experience with excavation, FRP, scaffolding, heights, cranes, and underground services

Tertiary qualifications in WH&S;

Robust commitment to safety and quality

Positive communication and computer skills

Knowledge of NSW HSE standards and legislation

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $70.00
- $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

10 hour shift
