About the Role

As an Educator at The Grove Academy, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, enriching, and safe environment for children to thrive. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to the implementation of exciting programs that inspire curiosity and learning. Key responsibilities include:

* Delivering fun, engaging and milestone aligned learning experiences

* Building positive relationships with children, families, and your team

* Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

* Supporting children’s growth through observation and documentation

* Contributing to a culture of collaboration and fun

* Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times

* Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment

* Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures

Skills & Experience We’re looking for someone who embodies passion and enthusiasm. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

* A Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care

* Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

* Great communication and teamwork skills

* Dedication to providing quality care and fostering children’s learning

* A positive attitude and love for creating memorable experiencesStrong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting

* Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety

* Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries at all times

Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and complete mandatory child safety training.
