**The Prospect**
We are seeking Environmental Services Assistant to work across our domestic services at Southern Highlands Private Hospital. This opportunity will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness specifically to all areas of our hospital.
Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Performing laundry services, including washing, folding and transporting laundered goods where required
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved
**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a hospital workplace but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP, Workplace, Health and Safety and Infection Control
- Have experience in cleaning services
- Be a team player and love to work within a large team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
