**Temporary Full time until October 2026**

**$132,022 package includes salary ($108,494
- $116,838), employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.**

**The TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoE),** are National Centres of Excellence, a joint initiative between the Australian Government and NSW Government under the National Skills Agreement.

MCoEs are an innovative education model to tackle the manufacturing skills challenge for NSW and Australia. Located in Western Sydney, the Hunter, and the Illawarra, each centre specialises in different areas. These include advanced manufacturing with robotics and 3D printing, supporting clean energy in net zero manufacturing and sustainable manufacturing practices, supporting the heavy manufacturing industry, and supporting new and existing workforce build the skills they need for the future.

By partnering with other CoEs, TAFES, universities, and industry, these nationally networked centres ensure training aligns with real-world job requirements. The MCoEs offer short courses, microskills, and will soon deliver higher apprenticeships to help individuals become job-ready or enhance their skills for future opportunities.

**About the role**

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence by developing and implementing continuous improvement frameworks, systems, and processes that support our Manufacturing Centres of Excellence and other initiatives.

You’ll play a critical role in identifying opportunities to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. Through research, analysis, and collaboration, you’ll help shape a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

**About You**

We’re seeking a confident, highly motivated individual with a talent for navigating complex and sensitive challenges. You’ll bring strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate multiple options, understanding their broader impact on organisational goals and long-term strategy.

Your approach to problem-solving is grounded in human-centred design, and you’re skilled in using abductive reasoning to uncover insights others might miss. A natural collaborator, you know how to listen beyond words—gathering insights through deep engagement with stakeholders and users. You’ll also be comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to a wide range of audiences, adapting your communication style to suit the context.

**To be successful in this role you will hold a**:

- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in building and implementing continuous improvement frameworks, systems and process improvements.
- Experience in capturing and documenting continuous improvement learnings, assessing and evaluating continuous improvement strategies and initiatives, identifying issues and risks.
- Willingness and ability to travel as per business requirements

**Highly Regarded**:

- Experience in Human-Centred thinking
- Experience in the use of virtual collaboration tools such as Miro
