**About the business and the role**

Few and Far, an award winning homewares and furniture store is looking for a friendly, motivated and passionate Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our Bowral location!

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Ascertain customers' needs and wants and recommend items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
- Keep up to date with product information
- Follow all company policies and procedures

**Skills and experience**
- Proven sales experience in a similar retail business
- You are a people person, who enjoys interacting and building relationships with customers and staff
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- You demonstrate a strong sense of initiative
- You have the ability to lead by example
- Good knowledge of POS platforms
- A sharp eye for visual merchandising and maintaining the presentation of the store
- You are comfortable working to a brief and sales target
- You have a high level of personal presentation
- Great knowledge and a passion for design and homewares

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $21.38
- $36.73 per hour

Expected hours: 7
- 24 per week
