This role offers the opportunity to deliver a seamless food service and create high‑quality meals for students, while running the kitchen efficiently. You will lead a team of up to five in a supportive and welcoming environment, ensuring consistency, quality and a positive experience for all. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. THE POSITION
- Responsible for direction, coaching and hands‑on support to drive a strong onsite team.
- Lead menu design, food preparation and high‑quality service delivery across all offerings.
- Plan, supervise and monitor production for functions and daily in‑house catering.
- Build strong relationships while maintaining excellence in food safety, allergen control and OHS.
- Oversee procurement, stock management, cost control and minimise food wastage. THE PERSON
- Qualified chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
- Creative culinary leader, robust presentation skills, and a passion for seasonal, local produce.
- Engaging communicator able to build positive relationships with staff, clients and students.
- Experienced team mentor with a track record in training, developing and guiding teams and delivering corporate‑style functions.
- Adaptable and energetic professional who can multitask, forward‑plan, remain focused in changing environments.
