Our client, a leading supplier of solutions and services to aquaculture, is currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis, based in Inverness.
As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable service and repair of both in-house and third-party products within a professional workshop environment.
Main Duties
- Maintain and repair a variety of products, including IP cameras, Smarteye cameras, Antenna
- Cage, Antenna BAP, Comm Cab, Winches (dual/single/with brake versions), and Wifi boxes
- Provide telephone support and assist with the preparation of core products
- Offer basic first line remote support as designated by Line Manager
- Accurately record time spent, parts used, and details of work performed on all tasks
Skills and experience
- Exposure to electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
- Proven ability to maintain and repair a broad range of technical equipment
- Basic IT and Networking experience
- Methodical approach to fault finding
- Excellent customer service skills
- Recognised technical apprenticeship or HNC/HND in in electrical or electronic engineering would be desirable
