Exciting prospect to play, learn and build your experience with Playgroup NSW! Do you have a background in Early Education? Are you looking for flexibility in your work – shifts are 3–3.5 hours per day, and you would be based in the Bowral Area? Playgroup NSW is a not‑for‑profit organisation that helps connect families and children to people and services in the community to positively impact their quality of life. For over 50 years, the organisation has delivered and linked families to vital services such as parent support groups and playgroups for those experiencing vulnerability and diversity, and for those who value community connections. Thousands of families connect via community‑led and supported playgroup sessions affiliated with or delivered by Playgroup NSW, run weekly, building parental capacity, building their village, and helping children learn. We are currently looking for Educators to work on a casual basis in a variety of different types of playgroups in the Bowral Area. You might help for just a few hours a week during school terms. - Training in Child Related Studies, Community Based Studies, Aged Care or currently studying within a related field.
- Some experience working in an early childhood or community‑based setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and the importance of play.
- An understanding of the significance of early learning for children.
- Experience in volunteering at or facilitating a community playgroup would be beneficial. Mandatory
