- Preparing theatre equipment — ensuring operating rooms are set up safely with functional instruments, devices and resources.
- Transporting patients, specimens and equipment throughout the perioperative environment in a timely and safe manner.
- Assisting with patient transfer, positioning and physical support under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Maintaining cleanliness and environmental hygiene including cleaning floors, furniture, equipment, and removing soiled linen and waste.
- Restocking and maintaining supplies to ensure safe, organised and hygienic conditions across the operating suite. Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.
- Moderate to high level of physical fitness to safely undertake manual handling and patient‑support tasks.
- Strong patient and customer service focus with a compassionate, respectful approach.
- Availability to work a rotating 7‑day roster including a range of shift times. Advantages
