The role
A Despatch Coordinator / Customer Service Officer is required for our Adbri Masonry distribution yard in Boxhill. The position will be responsible to coordinate and maintain a reliable despatch service, working with our yard staff, customer service team, the national logistics team, and our transport contractors to ensure our customers get the right product at the right time.
Positive computer skills, exposure to delivery allocations, and excellent attention to detail and customer service skills are required.
This position is initially available on a full time 6-month fixed term contract working Monday through to Friday.
Responsibilities
Coordinating of deliveries to customers
Ensuring stock accuracy and levels are maintained
Assisting with customer enquiries and order entry
Efficiently and effectively manage both employees and external stakeholders when arriving on site
Promptly answer incoming calls, in a professional manner
Accuracy of maintaining internal databases, in a timely manner
Accuracy of saving and uploading documents
Prioritising task to fit with the organisation’s requirements
Management and efficiency of day-to-day administration tasks
What you will need to succeed
MS Office experience mandatory
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, time management, negotiating skills and computer skills are essential
High attention to detail
Be able to multi task and work under dead lines
Be able to communicate with internal and external parties
Have a "can do attitude" and to be able to work with a team
