**About Us**: At Edge Hospitality we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable experiences. As a leader in the events industry, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented part time Event Manager to join our team.

As Events Manager at The Pavilion Box hill and Edge Hospitality, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of events for the catering division. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly and meet the highest standards. This is a hands-on role, and your expertise in logistics, problem-solving, and team management will be essential to your success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of event operations
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and objectives, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Manage relationships with vendors, venues, and other external partners.
- Supervise event setup, execution, and pack-down, ensuring all elements are executed flawlessly.
- Lead and manage on-site event staff.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Handle any issues or problems that arise during events, providing quick and effective solutions.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and/or event operations management.
- Solid organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends, must have own transportation.
- Certification in Event Management is a plus.

**Remuneration**: Starting at $68k plus super. Pro rata 3-4 days per week.
