General Insurance Broker (Box Hill)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Insurance Broker to work for our company. You are expected to provide high-quality service to our clients.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Interview potential clients to introduce policy conditions, risks covered and not covered, premium rates, benefits, and make recommendations
- Complete insurance quotations based on information provided by the client
- Prepare compliance files and ensure the quality of work meeting relevant requirements
- Manage insurance annual renewals for all existing clients
- Monitor insurance premium payment status on an ongoing basis
- Process policy endorsements, lapses and cancellations
- Provide services to clients regarding policy inquiries, claim requests, policy amendments, etc.
- Communicate with companies on a daily basis regarding quotations, policies, claims, etc.
- Manage clients’ files in compliance with the industry standards
- Other ad hoc projects relating to marketing and client engagement

**Required Qualification and Experience**
- Qualification at diploma level or above with License in insurance broking
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Insurance Broker
- Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese is a plus

**Knowledge Areas**
- Understanding of the insurance broking process and various insurance types
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility in a growing and creative environment
- The ability to build strong client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Pay: $70,000.00
- $75,000.00 per year
