Box Hill Institute is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused International Student Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality student monitoring and administrative services. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and an outstanding student experience across the international cohort, while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. About the role Reporting to the Manager, International Monitoring & Pathways, you will provide high-level administrative and coordination support across international student monitoring operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies, while supporting student engagement activities and delivering exceptional customer service. What you'll do:
- Coordinate and maintain accurate student data, including enrolment, attendance, course progression, and tuition payments
- Support compliance monitoring activities aligned with regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Provide high-level administrative support including preparation of reports, documentation, and correspondence
- Assist with student intake processes including admissions, enrolment, and orientation activities
- Monitor key performance metrics such as retention, attendance, and completion rates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agents and extended campuses
- Support delivery of events such as international student orientations and study tours
- Provide accurate advice and responsive customer service to students and stakeholders About You: You are a highly organised and proactive skilled with a strong background in administration and international student services. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional support to a diverse student population. Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualification in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience supporting international student monitoring or similar operations Key Skills & Attributes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience in administrative support within a complex or compliance-driven environment
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relating to international students
- Proficiency in administrative and financial systems, including intermediate Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and support informed decision-making
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Alignment with a child-safe, inclusive and values-based workplace
- Have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
