Bartender (Braddon)

**Midnight Hotel** is currently seeking a **CASUAL BARTENDER **to join our team in **MIDNIGHT BAR**.

**The Role**: You will play a pivotal role in our Midnight Bar experience by:

- Providing a dynamic, warm and engaging welcome and service experience.
- Showcasing your flair and talent for all things cocktails.
- Demonstrating your knowledge of wine, beer and spirits to our guests.
- Providing food recommendations and pairings.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, stock levels and presentation of the bar area at all times.
- Working alongside the Bar team to provide an excellent guest experience.
- This role is based across a on a rotating roster, with shifts commencing between mid-afternoon approx 15:00 until approximately 23:00 or slightly later, depending on demand. _
- Availability to work minimum 4 shifts per week with 3 weekdays availability._

**What we need from you**:

- A minimum of one year of experience in a Bartending or Cocktail Bar environment is essential, including a practical demonstration of your skills and service knowledge.
- Extensive cocktail and wine knowledge with previous experience in wine pairing and recommendations are essential.
- Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, cocktails, wine and food.
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including 3 weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.
- Previous food service skills are desirable.
- Exceptional service skill in creating a unique guest experience is essential.
- Highly adaptable and able to perform during high-pressure service periods.
- Superior communication skills and detail orientated.
- High standard of personal presentation.
- A current ACT Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
