The role As a Virtual Receptionist, you'll be the voice of our clients — answering calls, managing digital interactions, and ensuring every person who contacts one of our client businesses feels heard and helped.
- Answer inbound calls and manage digital interactions professionally and warmly.
- Relay messages promptly and accurately to the right people.
- Represent multiple client businesses with the right tone and manner for each.
- Bring a positive, calm presence to every interaction, even when it's busy. This role will build your skills as a professional receptionist with real variety — no two calls are the same. What you'll need. Skills Strong communication and a polished telephone manner, with sharp attention to detail — accuracy in messages and information matters here. Experience A background in a fast-paced contact centre or receptionist role is preferred. If you don't have that, experience in a task-focused process role (claims, banking, or similar transactional work) will be considered. Tech confidence Comfortable using a computer day-to-day — Microsoft 365 and Teams experience is helpful. Typing speed of at least 45 wpm, and confident navigating online systems using a keyboard and mouse. Home office setup
- A separate, quiet workspace where you can take calls without interruption.
- A modern Windows 11 or macOS computer (purchased within the last four years, with at least 8GB RAM).
- A rapid, reliable NBN connection — hard-wired preferred, minimum 100 Mbps. Work rights Australian work rights are required for this role. Details to know Shifts Set, rostered shifts between 20 and 37.5 paid hours per week, scheduled across 9am to 11pm Monday to Saturday. You'll be given your roster in advance so you can plan your week. Penalty rates apply for after-hours and weekend shifts. Training Comprehensive online training runs over 10 days, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm AEST, commencing 29 June 2026.
