**Your new prospect Are you ready to make a difference while advancing your career in an exciting and impactful role? We're seeking an experienced individual like you to join our Queensland Government Insurance Fund team as Manager, Claims. In the role of Manager, Claims
- Health Team, you will manage various medical negligence and health related personal injury claims lodged against Queensland Government departments. You may also have the opportunity to manage additional classes of claims as needed

What experience you will bring:

- Experience in managing claims under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002, including personal injury and medical negligence claims, utilising best practice claims standards.
- A sound understanding of liability and causation principles and knowledge of applicable case law.
- Experience in managing providers of legal services, loss assessing, investigations to ensure value for money outcomes.
- Experience in leading and managing a team, as well as managing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
