Communication and Design Officer (Brisbane)

Eden Ritchie is seeking a **Communication and Design Officer** who will add value by delivering highly effective and targeted communication, digital marketing materials and campaigns that support strategic Department projects and priorities.
- 6 month contract
- Brisbane CBD location

**As the Communication and Design Officer, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Research, write and edit a range of documents and communication resources to a high qualified standard, including reports, speeches, media releases, presentation and communication material.
- Collaborate with Department leaders and staff to develop content that meets objectives and delivered within set timeframes.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and provide strategic advice to senior leaders on communication and engagement, and social media and media issues and opportunities
- Manage the publication of content across the Department’s key communication channels, including its internet and intranet sites, and social media channels
- Develop a range of high quality, contemporary communication products and solutions to support Department initiatives and programs
- Remain abreast of the corporate design style and branding guides and ensure all material aligns with the standards.
- Support uplifting skills and use of modern communication technology tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency communication and engagement

**The successful applicant will demonstrate**:

- Demonstrated high-level communication and design skills with experience developing and editing content and marketing collateral for presentations and social media
- Strong written communication skills with experience in writing and editing internal and external policies and strategies.
- A flexible and organised approach to achieving outcomes within tight timeframes, under pressure and with competing priorities.
- High level interpersonal skills to build and sustain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, peers and clients.

While there are no mandatory requirements, proficiency with Design and communication products and Microsoft suite of products is highly regarded.
