Common Area Housekeeper / Cleaner (Brisbane)

Job Description Oaks Brisbane on Charlotte Suites hosts a housekeeping department expanding with multiple full time, part time, and casual opportunities for Common Area Cleaners. Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and maintaining all common guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring hygiene and visual appeal.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively – all training and tools provided.
- Building strong, professional relationships with team members and guests to help foster a positive, respectful work environment. Shift Details (subject to change)

- Monday to Sunday
- Varied daylight and evening shifts available Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation; casual positions receive an additional 25% casual loading)

- Monday – Friday: $24.95 per hour
- Saturday: $31.19 per hour
- Sunday: $37.43 per hour Qualifications

- Previous experience in a resort or hotel environment is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and stamina – able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Qualified and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
