- Full-time permanent position with demonstrated career growth located in Gibson Island
- 12-hour rotating roster (4 on, 5 off, 4 on
- days & nights) – enjoy a 5-day weekend!
- Structured training, stable income and long-term career development Reporting to the Shift Foreman, you will be involved in operating, monitoring and maintaining large-scale machinery in a continuous manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll develop strong technical skills over time, supported by a structured training program. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the paper machine to meet safety, quality and production targets
- Troubleshoot faults and support resolving equipment issues to minimise downtime
- Carry out routine machine checks and assist with preventative maintenance activities
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance
- Work collaboratively within a team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Requirements
- Strong reliability and commitment – you show up, take ownership and follow through
- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in understanding how machinery works
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, trades or hands‑on environment is highly regarded
- Trade or technical qualifications are advantageous, but not essential
- Comfortable working a 12-hour rotating roster (4 on, 4 off – days and nights)
- Able to work in a physically active, rapid‑paced industrial environment
