Responsibilities This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of keeping production running at its best. You’ll operate and optimise baling and rolling machinery, fine-tune settings for quality output, and step in quickly to troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime. From leading efficient start-ups and changeovers to maintaining accurate production data, you’ll play a key role in driving performance—while upholding a protected, clean, and high-performing work environment.
- Operate and monitor baling and rolling machinery , ensuring optimal performance and output
- Set up, adjust, and fine-tune machines to meet production specifications and quality standards
- Conduct precise quality checks on product dimensions, weight, and consistency
- Accurately record production and machine performance data
Your Profile You’ll be a confident and capable machine operator with a strong mechanical mindset and a passion for getting the best out of equipment. Experience in manufacturing or process environments will set you up for success, along with:
- A valid forklift licence
- Proven experience with baling, rolling, or similar heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude including machine setup, adjustments, and basic maintenance
