**Find a career that matters and lasts**: As a Team Leader Protective Security & Access Management**,** you will lead the development and implementation of the electrical safety and authorisation framework within a high voltage electrical, operational environment. You will be a part of a team that excels in addressing security access requirements and crafting policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Oversee and uphold the framework for authorisations within Powerlink, ensuring a consistent approach statewide.
- Develop and coordinate security access requirements, policies, standards and guidelines.
- Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including our Technical Training Team, Operational Engineering and Field Teams.
- Prepare and conduct training for field-based personnel to enhance their understanding of the latest in station entre/access, reporting and authorisations.

**The community you will join**: Based in Brisbane, you will play a pivotal role in the Operational Engineering division, reporting directly to the Manager of Protective Security & Authorisations. You will join a team dedicated to addressing security access requirements and developing comprehensive policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

**Your expertise**:

- Cert IV Training and Assessment with significant related experience in Training and Assessment
- Cert IV qualifications in Leadership or significant related experience in People Leadership
- Queensland Security Adviser Licence (Obtain within 3 months)

With your demonstrated leadership experience, you will excel in managing accreditation operations and training. You are skilled at delivering digital, business-wide solutions that maintain the quality and standards of accreditation within a safety-sensitive sector. Additionally, you have a solid track record in monitoring risk-based compliance in accordance with industry-specific, safety sensitive legislative requirements.

**Additional Requirements**:

- C Class drivers licence required.
- Ability to accommodate flexible working arrangements to cope with peak workloads.
- Travel and work away from home for short periods. (domestic)
