**About the role**

The **Production Operator**role**is a** Full-Time**position, based at **Brendale, QLD**. Reporting to the** Production Supervisor**you will be responsible for operating a range of fixed and mobile plant in a dynamic environment to manufacture high-quality products.

**Shift Pattern**: 4 days on / 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts. The shifts rotate between day (06:00-18:00) and night (18:00-06:00).

**In this role you will**:

- Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
- Identify and report equipment and product faults.
- Unload and stage (put away) various products.
- Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
- Housekeeping and other duties as required.
- Forklift driving required and complete pre-start checklists.

- A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices & high regard for safety
- Ability to interact well with others and join the team
- The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and trouble shooting ability
- Computer literacy
- Willingness to work a rotating roster.
- Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
- A current Forklift license with experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of production operations
