Logistics Officer (Brisbane)

**We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: Demonstrated experience and capability in providing a high level of specialised fleet and equipment logistics support in a complex operational setting with a proven commitment to delivering high quality logístical services to clients. Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of computer-based inventory management and tracking systems, asset management systems, procurement practices in the public sector and associated policies and procedures. Well developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively both independently, with limited direction, and as part of a small team, with a demonstrated high level attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks to achieve required outcomes and meet deadlines. Sound knowledge of and experience in the safe operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, and the proven ability to lift, carry and store objects in accordance with workplace health and safety legislative requirements and QAS policies and procedures.

Whilst not mandatory, a qualification equivalent to Level 2 in Procurement/Purchasing (i.e. Intermediate Procurement) would be considered highly desirable. Applicants without this accreditation will be expected to obtain this qualification immediately upon appointment.
