Senior Business Development Manager – Commercial Lighting
- Salary: $100,000
- $130,000 Base + Super + Car Allowance + Commission
- Location: Brisbane
- Industry: Commercial & Architectural Lighting About the Company My client is a highly respected, established national supplier servicing Australia’s commercial lighting markets. They’ve built a fantastic reputation for delivering top-tier lighting products and have quickly become the go-to partner for a rapidly expanding portfolio of commercial projects. They are currently experiencing a huge growth phase and are looking for a driven, passionate Senior Sales Professional to join the team. If you love the lighting space and genuinely enjoy hunting for new business and opening doors, this is the perfect time to come on board. The Role In this role, you’ll have plenty of autonomy to run your own race and take full ownership of your sales pipeline, while still being backed by a highly supportive national team. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Working closely with clients to understand their design visions and offering a consultative, solution-based approach.
- Delivering high-impact product and application presentations to key market players.
- Setting up an effective sales call cycle to keep momentum high and follow up on warm leads.
- Keeping an eye on market trends and implementing smart strategies to keep the business ahead of the competition. Skills & Experience Needed We need a natural relationship builder with a true hunter mentality who knows how the commercial market operates. Ideally, you bring:
- Solid experience selling technical lighting solutions into Specifiers, Engineers, and Contractors.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a genuine passion for business development.
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills—you know how to read a room and figure out exactly what the client needs.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills to successfully manage your own territory. What’s on Offer
- Base salary between $100,000
