About the role
- Provide professional leadership and professional governance for mental health Social Workers within Metro North Mental Health
- The Prince Charles Hospital (MNMH-TPCH).
- Consistent with the strategic directions for MNMH, contribute advanced level of knowledge, skills, experience and clinical leadership to support the implementation of evidence-based practice, research and education within the mental health Social Work professional group, multidisciplinary team, and leadership networks.
- Provide advanced level mental health clinical knowledge and skills to deliver specialist Social Work clinical services including assessment and management of consumers with complex issues within the MNMH-TPCH acute mental health inpatient units as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Align, lead and contribute to the strategic direction for social work services across MNMH-TPCH and the broader MNMH stream in accordance with the strategic focus guided by the MNMH Director Allied Health.
