**About the Role**: An exciting prospect exists as a leader within the Communication Team, Early Childhood Division. Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Provide leadership and management of strategic projects and communication initiatives to support the quality of early childhood education and care in Queensland to the sector and the public more broadly.
- Lead the development of high-quality communication materials and deliver responsive communication services for a range of departmental clients within an account management framework.
- Provide expert communications advice to program areas on strategies to best inform and educate audiences on complex and sensitive issues, including adapting a range of messages to public and internal audiences.
- Prepare materials to support development of major policy papers, cabinet submissions, briefings, reports and other documents on strategic early childhood education and care and communication initiatives.
- Identify and develop creative solutions in response to emerging strategic communication issues that may impact on the Division's activities.
