About the Role

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is currently seeking passionate and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our talented Kitchen Brigade on a full‐time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.

Cooking, cleaning, assisting other cooks, and delivering food in a quick‐paced environment.

Operating a grill, oven, or fryer as required.

Requirements for the role

Minimum two years of experience in a similar capacity.

Degree from an internationally recognised culinary institution preferred.

Working knowledge of protected kitchen practices.

Knowledge of food & beverage and kitchen regulations.

Australian resident or visa rights to work in Australia.
