About the Role

Business Development Manager

at a leading managed services provider based in Brisbane Inner City. The position is permanent and offers a flexible working environment, allowing you to work from office or home.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain high‐value relationships with current and existing customers.

Acquire new logos by managing the full business‐development sales cycle.

Achieve revenue and service‐line targets set by the business.

Use a solution‐selling approach to win new business within target customer bases and verticals.

Take ownership of opportunities, drafting high‐quality proposals and following prescribed CRM and sales‐engagement practices.

Understand customer business objectives, pain points and value perception.

Define and drive customer proposals or quotes that deliver measurable perks.

Identify and engage appropriate customer stakeholders to enable decisions.

Collaborate with partner ecosystems to manage leads, campaigns and opportunities.

Adopt and adhere to the company's sales processes.

Participate in vendor‐relationship building and co‐sponsored marketing events and campaigns.

Own a personal development plan and contribute to marketing‐related activities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or business development focused on net‐new logo acquisition and pipeline building.

Proven sales experience within the IT/technology industry, especially in managed services, IT services, or Microsoft up-to-date workplace sales.

Experience scoping, pricing and delivering professional and managed‐services proposals.

Significant experience selling with and through partner or vendor organisations.

Knowledge of ICT networks, end‐user computing, cloud concepts and cyber‐security concepts.

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with no on‐call commitments.

Location: Brisbane Inner City or willing to work with national customers.
