Looking for Data Architect – Brisbane/Hybrid Your New Company:You will be joining the QLD State Government within a major transformation program focused on modernising workforce systems. This program aims to replace legacy HR and payroll platforms with a contemporary, integrated Human Capital Management solution, improving data accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency across a large public sector workforce. Your New Role:As a Data Architect, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing and managing enterprise-level data architecture.Develop and maintain data architecture frameworks aligned to business and technology strategiesLead data migration activities from legacy systems to modern platformsDesign logical and physical data models to optimise structure, relationships, and flowEstablish robust data integration frameworks ensuring seamless system connectivityImplement strong data governance, quality, and security practicesProvide expert guidance on data architecture, modelling, and migration best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designsRecommend modern tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance data capabilitiesMaintain comprehensive documentation of data models, transformation logic, and integration points.
