**THE ROLE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**
- Liaise with customers at every stage of their shipment process
- Interact with customers upon delivery or pick-up, ensuring high-quality service
- Find solutions for highly regulated shipments by air and road
- Book export airline shipments and track the progress of shipments
- Check Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments, including repacking and documentation
- Assist with processing, repacking, and preparing shipments.
- Load and unload delivery goods
- Maintain accurate driving records and vehicle maintenance (mileage, fuel receipts, etc.)
- Collaborate with in-house teams and other companies to ensure the timely pickup and collection of freight
- Consolidate information and liaise with our Broker for prompt release of inbound international cargo
- Perform collections and deliveries within Brisbane and surrounding areas

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED**
- High attention to detail
- Air Freight Operations Specialist / Driver experience
- Valid/Clean driver’s license
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using logistics systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide alternative solutions to clients and peers
- Excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Dangerous Goods (DG) accreditation is a plus, though training will be provided
- Knowledge of airfreight operations is preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A committed, reliable, and proactive attitude
