**Project Architect / Coordinator**: Brisbane

**The Role**: Providing day to day leadership and project management throughout the project lifecycle, the Project Architect / Coordinator will offer technical expertise and quality assurance.
Duties include
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects
- Provide guidance and oversight, developing workflows to be followed
- Carry out feasibility studies identifying site constraints to determine best course of action
- Prepare and present design proposals, feasibility reports to clients
- Ensure designs consider constraining factors such the National Construction Code (NCC), town planning etc.
- Keep track of actual project hours relative to fee proposal
- Perform site visits to ensure project alignment with design intent and resolve issues
Skills & Experience:
- Registration via relevant state/territory Architect Registration Board preferred but not critical
- 5+ years’ experience in an architectural studio environment
- Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD)
- Solid knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), local council requirements, town planning and environmental impacts
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and planning ordinances
- Excellent communication, whether written, visual, or verbal
- Exceptional organisation, time management and coordination
- Exposure to leadership responsibilities within an architectural firm
