Civil Project Engineer /Civil Project Manager for QLD (Brisbane)

Please note this is for someone looking to move to South East QLD The Company I am partnered with a leading Tier 2 Contractor working across the East Coast of Australia specialising in Land Development and Infrastructure projects. They specialise in delivering projects from $5m-$20m. This is a very well-established business operating for over 20 years and continuing to grow. With an impressive amount of work currently on the go and more in the pipeline they are looking for a Project Engineer or Project Manager to join the team. What you'll be doing
- Effectively planning, organising and overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborating closely with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks, implementing appropriate controls and escalating issues as required
- Providing expert guidance and leadership to the project team, delegating tasks and monitoring performance
- Preparing comprehensive reports, budgets and other documentation to track project progress and communicate with key stakeholders
- Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations and safety protocols What we're looking for
- 4+ years in the civil construction industry
- Demonstrated success in leading the delivery of complex infrastructure / subdivision projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop high-performing project teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline What's in it for you
