Site Manager – Retail / Commercial Construction (Brisbane)

345 Projects QLD is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in retail and commercial construction to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who understands live retail environments and can confidently deliver high-quality projects across Queensland while managing tight programmes and stakeholder expectations. You will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. About the Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of retail and commercial projects from site establishment through to completion. You will coordinate trades and suppliers, manage construction programmes, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure works are completed efficiently within live operating environments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end site operations across retail and commercial construction projects
- Deliver works within live retail environments while minimising disruption to clients and customers
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and site logistics
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, site safety procedures, and quality standards
- Manage construction programmes, sequencing, and project timelines
- Liaise effectively with clients, centre management, consultants, and project teams
- Maintain accurate site documentation, reporting, and records
- Monitor site productivity and proactively resolve issues as they arise Key Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Site Manager within retail and commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering projects within live retail environments and tight construction programmes
- Experience working on Coles and Woolworths projects will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and site compliance
- Ability to manage subcontractors, site logistics, tools, and materials effectively
- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or similar) preferred but not essential
- Ability to supply and use own power tools
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel between project sites
- Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card
