Project Manager - Commercial Construction (Brisbane)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team ASAP to drive the successful delivery of a major industrial Design & Construct project from early-stage setup through to completion. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in leading project establishment, design management, early procurement and delivery strategy, ensuring projects are set up for success from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Lead project startup and establishment, including systems, processes and team mobilisation
- Drive design management in a D&C; setting, working closely with consultants and clients
- Oversee early procurement strategy, trade engagement and supply chain coordination
- Manage full end-to-end project delivery (design, procurement, construction, handover)
- Ensure delivery against time, cost, quality and safety targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Provide commercial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Manage head contract obligations, variations, EOTs and subcontractor performance
- Lead and mentor project teams including Engineers, Site Managers and CA’s About You
- Proven experience delivering industrial projects in a Design & Construct model
- Strong track record in early-stage project setup and design coordination
- Highly developed commercial acumen and contract management capability
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar What’s on Offer
