- Opportunities to collaborate with engineers across offices and states About the Role As a Graduate Structural Engineer based in Cairns , you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions across a range of building projects. This role is ideal for someone who is:

- Assist in the delivery of structural engineering projects, including multi-storey residential, commercial, and industrial developments
- Perform structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and timber
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Produce structural mark-ups for internal drafting teams
- Utilise industry-standard software including SpaceGass, RAM, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
- Participate in construction-phase activities, including site inspections and shop drawing reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant, and economical designs About You
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Graduate to 1+ year's experience in structural engineering (consultancy experience highly regarded)
- Consultancy experience is preferred but not mandatory for this graduate position
- Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu advantageous
- Current driver's license required Location & Relocation This position is Cairns (QLD) based, working on projects across FNQ and supported by EDGE's national office network.
