Carpenter / Supervisor / projectmanager (Brendale)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Supervisor All-Rounder to join our growing building company based in Brisbane Northside. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong experience across all aspects of construction and repairs, and who is confident in managing projects, trades, clients, and day-to-day site operations. The successful applicant will work closely with management and play a key role in helping grow the business. This role is a good fit for someone seeking long-term opportunities and involvement in a company that thinks outside the box. Type of Works Projects include

- Block retaining walls
- Concrete footings and slabs
- Waterproofing rectification works
- Insurance and maintenance repairs
- Carpentry and framing works
- General residential and commercial building repairs Key Responsibilities
- Running and supervising projects up to $1 mil
- Managing trades, labour, and subcontractors
- Organising materials and site scheduling
- Reading and interpreting plans and engineering details
- Ensuring works are completed to Australian Standards and QBCC requirements
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and office staff
- Problem-solving and finding practical construction solutions
- Maintaining site safety and quality control
- Assisting with project planning and business growth Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Carpenter
- Supervisor Licence or Builder’s Licence preferred
- Robust all-round construction knowledge
- Experience managing projects and trades on-site
- Experience with structural works and retaining walls is highly regarded
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Computer confidence and ability to use job management systems, emails, and apps
