Project Accountant Infrastructure & Renewables Brisbane City

Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Project Accountant to support major infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Queensland.

About the Role

This role partners closely with operational and commercial teams to support project financial performance across the full project lifecycle. You will be responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis within a dynamic project workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project ledgers and maintain financial integrity

Prepare monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts

Support project performance analysis and financial decision-making

Assist with cash flow forecasting and receivables management

Support variations, cost tracking and commercial reporting

Work closely with project and commercial stakeholders

Requirements

Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business

Experience in project accounting within construction, infrastructure or engineering

Strong understanding of project finance and contract accounting

Advanced Excel skills required

SAP experience advantageous

Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial mindset
