The research team is led by Dr Robyn Wheldall, Director of MRU. About the role We are seeking to recruit a full-time (or part time) Research Administration Officer for our Brisbane office. The MultiLit Research Administration Officer will undertake administrative coordination of testing and related tasks for research, school-based and outreach projects conducted by MultiLit. The position will also involve the administration of standardised and curriculum-based assessments to students involved in these projects. Skills required A degree (or in progress) preferably in education, special education, psychology, neuropsychology or speech/hearing is desirable Proven administrative, organisational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Ability to follow detailed instructions Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail Ability to work in a confidential environment Experience working in a research environment and/or experience undertaking standardised and curriculum-based assessments is desirable Current Queensland Blue card (visit the website) Current Queensland Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle (remuneration for mileage applies) Experience working with children/students is desirable Good knowledge of the primary and high school sectors is desirable Further details **Please note**: The incumbent will be expected to receive, and act on, feedback on performance and input from MultiLit Research Unit staff.
