Sage Education Australia Remote / Work From Home Casual Position | Immediate Start Available Competitive Hourly Rate Help Shape the Next Generation of Community Services Professionals
Sage Education Australia is a growing Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5989) delivering nationally recognised qualifications across community services, aged care, disability support, and early childhood education. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess the following qualifications:
- CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services
- CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management
- (Desirable) CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, sharing real-world industry knowledge, and helping students build meaningful careers in the community services sector. About the Role
This position is initially offered on a casual basis, with approximately 8–10 hours per week or more, however we anticipate significant growth in student numbers and there will be opportunities for increased hours and potential full-time employment for the right candidate. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging online training sessions via Google Meet or similar platforms
- Conducting assessments and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting students throughout their learning journey
- Participating in online classes, workshops, and student support activities
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Providing practical industry insights and career guidance to students
- Working collaboratively with our student support and compliance teams Classes are predominantly delivered online and may be scheduled:
- During standard business hours; and/or
- In the evenings (after 6:00pm) to support working students About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential Requirements
- Relevant vocational qualifications in Community Services at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- Current Trainer and Assessor qualification TAE40116 or Higher
- Demonstrated current industry skills and experience in community services
- Strong understanding of contemporary community services practice
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and confidence using online learning platforms
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality student support Highly Desirable
- At least 5 years of experience at a senior level in the community services sector
- Current or recent industry currency with a commitment to keeping it current
- Qualification and/or experience in:
- Individual Support
- Disability Services
- Mental Health
- Case Management
- Community Development
