This well-established, Private Equity-backed organisation with a solid market reputation are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. The role offers exposure to a broad range of financial activities, including group reporting, business partnering, and M&A-related; work. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the executive group, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while partnering with the business to provide accurate and meaningful financial insights. This is a broad and hands-on position, combining technical financial accounting with commercial exposure with the opportunity to gain exposure the M&A; activity.
Key responsibilities include Preparation of monthly P&L; and Balance Sheet across multiple entities Group consolidation, management reporting, and performance analysis Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis Business partnering with key stakeholders to drive performance outcomes Review and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and management charges Preparation of audit documentation and technical accounting support Supporting compliance reporting requirements, including AFSL obligations Oversight of covenant testing and contribution to statutory reporting Supporting M&A; activity, including due diligence and transaction analysis About You
You are a technically strong, commercially aware accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
You will bring CA/CPA qualification 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting Robust knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements Experience producing reports, analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with the business Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines Why Join?
