The Role: Senior Designer

Based from our Brisbane Head Office, we are seeking experienced and passionate Senior Designers to join our growing creative team. Reporting to the Design Room Manager and collaborating directly with the Creative Director of Design, this is a key creative and technical role. This is your chance to utilise your experience, influence creative direction through your assigned product lines and instil your knowledge and guidance across the team.

This opportunity is Brisbane based. We are willing to relocate successful applicants domestically or internationally.

What you’ll do:

Deliver effective and comprehensive seasonal trend identification and research

Communicate concept design direction through research, illustration and CAD/sketching

Design, develop and fit on‑brand styles within specified price and time parameters

Lead communication to the wider business on seasonal design directionConsistently create and deliver on‑brand concepts and designs

Produce design submissions that are on time and in line with critical path

Instil knowledge and provide guidance to the broader design team

Work collaboratively with the broader Dissh team to achieve commercial goals

What you’ll bring:

4+ years' experience in female apparel fashion design at a senior level

Deep category expertise across one of (or multiple) of the following: wovens, knitwear, denim, tailoring & outerwear

A genuine understanding and connection to the DISSH aesthetic and brand direction

Experience within a commercially robust or design-led fashion brand(s)

A trend‑driven eye with solid proportion, fabric, and construction sensibility

History of working collaboratively and cross‑functionally with buying teams

Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or a relevant field (highly regarded)

A creative, autonomous and cooperative approach to design

A global design perspective, with an ability to create collections that resonate beyond the Australian market
