Description
Advise and liaise with senior staff within Pathology Queensland, hospital departments, private and public sector laboratories, Pathology Queensland laboratories and educational, research and commercial organisations concerning skilled, clinical, scientific, and educational, safety and resource matters.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop creative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide expert strategic advice to complex issues.
Demonstrated advanced communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including resilience and a proven ability to lead negotiations, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate both internal and external clients in the provision of a client-focussed service.
Advance understanding of clinical laboratory standards and other regulatory requirements as applicable to clinical trials and/ or research.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to adapt to evolving scientific and technological advancements.
Solid client focus and willingness to exceed client expectations.
Awareness of the human resource management policies applicable to contemporary workplaces
Understanding of laboratory quality systems and the requirements of NATA accreditation and ISO certification
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree, or an equivalent qualification
