Description
Allura Partners have been retained on a Finance Director search for a highly reputable logistics & rental business in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a true seat at the table role with full ownership of the finance function, a solid voice in shaping commercial strategy and an opportunity to join its executive leadership team. The role:
- Lead the preparation, consolidation and analysis of timely and accurate financial reports and analyse key business metrics including margins, analysis & expenditure vs budget
- Manage monthly management accounts and external statutory accounts for the business, encompassing P&L;, balance sheet and cashflow statements as well as board papers / dashboards
- Develop, implement and maintain compliance with financial policies, and ensure all statutory compliance obligations are met
- Provide thought leadership on analytically based unit economic assumptions that deliver optimised whole of life investment decisions
- Initiate action to continually maximise business growth, profitability and valuation and be a trusted business partner to the Chief Executive Officer and the rest of the SLT, comfortable in adding input when dealing with the executive team as well as external partners and clients
- Monthly consolidated Board Report(s)
- Monthly/Quarterly financial statements
- for external stakeholders such as banks / insurance companies
- Annual financial statements
- External audit function, including the preparation of the annual audited financial statements and all audit matters to establish and manage policies, standards and reporting requirements as required Experience/Qualifications:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Excellent experience spanning at least 10 years
- At least 5 years of leading a finance function and IPO and M&A; experience will be very well received
- Demonstrated experience building leveraging AI-driven insights, business intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI and data analytics tools to improve reporting visibility, enhance decision-making and drive operational and cost efficiencies across the business
- Exposure to multi-site operations, asset-intensive businesses or complex operational environments such as manufacturing, transport, logistics, industrial services, distribution or equipment rental If you feel you meet the requirements, please apply using the link.
