Position Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter / Fire Service Technician to join the Brisbane team. This position will involve working across a range of sites throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, and minor upgrade works on wet fire systems. Responsibilities will include: Testing, servicing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and pumpsets. Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting across wet fire systems. Minor installation and upgrade works as required. Completing compliance testing in line with Australian Standards. Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings. Completing service documentation and maintaining high safety standards on-site. Candidate The ideal candidate will be a trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitter or a licensed Plumber with strong fire industry experience. The business is seeking someone with a proactive attitude, strong technical ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service. The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include: QBCC Sprinkler Fitter Licence highly regarded. Trade qualified Sprinkler Fitter or Plumber with fire protection experience. Strong understanding of Australian fire standards and compliance requirements. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage service-based work. Current driver's licence. Experience with hydrant and backflow testing highly regarded. Confined Space and EWP tickets advantageous.
