Welder/fabricator Arg Workforce Brisbane

Our clients are looking for safety focused and motivated Welders/Fabricators to join their team on a fulltime basis in South and West of Brisbane, QLD.

You will assist with day-to-day operations to ensure targets are met.

Responsibilities and Duties

Fabricate and weld from samples and engineered drawings

General duties including use of grinding, cutting (friction & gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels

Weld and fabricate machinery parts

Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry out work safely

Perform assigned duties in a timely and protected manner

Complete all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation throughout the job process

Adherence to all company procedures

Assist in the facilitation of a harmonious workplace, working efficiently in the Fabrication team

Other duties as directed by Management, commensurate with classification and training

Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and workshop in general to 5S Standard

Qualifications / Skills

Relevant industry experience – Essential

Minimum three years experience in this role or similar will be highly regarded

Mechanical / Fabrication Trade Qualification

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Robust communication skills both written and verbal

Time management, planning and organization skills

Experience in workshop and field-based roles

Pay rate will be $35-$50 depending on experience and qualifications.
