The Visual Merchandiser / Retail Sales Assistant at M.J. Bale plays a crucial role in creating an inviting and visually appealing retail setting while ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:

Executing visual merchandising strategies to showcase M.J. Bale products and maintain brand standards

Creating eye-catching displays and arranging merchandise to highlight key promotions and product features

Collaborating with the store management team to implement seasonal changes and current product launches

Assisting customers with product selection, providing styling advice, and delivering personalized shopping experiences

Maintaining a clean and organized store environment to enhance the overall customer experience

Supporting sales goals by actively engaging with customers, processing transactions, and contributing to a positive sales culture

Monitoring inventory levels and participating in stock management activities as needed

Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practices for operational excellence

Skills and Experiences:

Required skills

Experience in visual merchandising and retail sales

Solid understanding of customer service principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail

Knowledge of current fashion trends and styling techniques

Required experiences

Prior experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the retail industry

Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and KPIs

Experience with inventory management and stock control

Familiarity with using POS systems and basic cash handling procedures

Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build client relationships
