Responsibilities
Provided trusted advice to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and the interpretation of employment legislation, Awards and company policies.
Support culture and engagement initiatives, including engagement surveys, cultural initiatives, and diversity and inclusion workshops.
Deliver operational excellence by maintaining accurate people data and provide meaningful insights to support business decision‑making.
Enable talent development through onboarding, talent programs, and employee and leader development programs.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement, supporting key People initiatives that enhance our systems, processes and the overall employee experience.
Qualifications
Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor or Generalist role, preferably in the Engineering Services industry.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation (including Fair Work Act and NES) and experience managing investigations and performance issues.
Robust interpersonal skills:
Resilient, collaborative and able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Systems capability: Proficiency in HR systems and reporting tools.
