Our Fleet Team is seeking a reliable Truck Driver / Trade Assistant to join our close‑knit team. This is a varied, hands‑on role, ideal for someone who is versatile, proactive, and willing to step in and support the team where needed.

The Role

Responsibilities

This is a part time position offering approximately 25 hours per week , combining driving duties with general workshop and yard support. The role provides variety while maintaining consistent hours. Key responsibilities include:

Driving heavy vehicles to and from servicing locations and branch sites

Operating a tilt tray truck to deliver and collect EWPs and machinery between branches and construction sites

Assisting in the fleet workshop with general trades assistant duties, including parts collection and basic manual tasks

Maintaining fleet presentation through regular vehicle washing and cleaning in the wash bay

Adhering to all safety, traffic, and workplace procedures at all times

What we are looking for

Current HR licence (manual)
- essential

Confident and safety‑focused driver with experience operating heavy vehicles

Willingness to perform hands‑on, practical tasks as required

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
