About the opportunity The Construction Area Manager is part of the Brighton Homes Construction team and reports to the Site Manager. The key focus of this role is to provide leadership and guidance to a team of Site Managers whilst overseeing all construction projects. More specifically, you will: Lead, manage and support a team of Site Managers across your region, providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback Oversee site performance by investigating delays, incidents, and defects, and implementing appropriate corrective actions Ensure high operational standards by monitoring reporting, client communication, system updates, and overall site presentation and compliance Promote and uphold safe working practices, ensuring adherence to safety requirements, use of PPE, and compliance with company policies and legislation Contribute to business performance through workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, while supporting cost control, supplier performance, and reducing delays and waste Collaborate with Construction Area Managers and Construction Managers to ensure effective communication and alignment across the Construction team Support Brighton Cares and assist with escalations as required About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will have: Excellent understanding of building regulations (inc.
