Senior Engineering Surveyor Brisbane

Shadforth are a leading Civil Contractor that have a strong reputation working across a diverse range of projects in Southeast Queensland, including Subdivisions, Infrastructure, Community Projects, and Roadworks. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our in‐house survey team to support projects across the Greater Brisbane / Brisbane West Region. Responsibilities Supervision of survey staff and allocation of daily tasks Liaise with construction and engineering teams Carry out survey tasks across multiple projects Perform calculations and set-up site survey works Perform quality checks during construction Positive knowledge of GPS machine guidance and files Trouble shoot problems on site Ensure compliance with all WHS procedures Qualifications Tertiary qualification in surveying will be held in high regard Previous experience in construction, ideally in civil Skilled in survey related 12D software A solid commitment to safety Effective communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate results Solid work ethic QLD manual driver's licence Advantages Access to people and leaders to support and guide you through your career Leading Civil Contractor offering stability and ongoing work Company supplied vehicle, laptop and phone Generous employee advantages, including ShadLife – our very own Wellness program Monthly Birthday Raffle, personal goals, team achievements and service recognition Shadforth is an equal‐opportunity employer.
